The 3M Versaflo Hood Assembly With Inner Shroud And Premium Head Suspension S-657 is a loose fitting hood for powered air respirator work, giving coverage across the head, face, neck and shoulders. It runs off certain 3M Versaflo Powered Air Respirator and 3M Supplied Air Respirator systems, so the hood handles the coverage while the turbo or airline does the air supply. The inner shroud tucks in around the neck, and the premium head suspension carries the weight where you want it on a long shift.
The visor gives a good field of view, which matters when you are working close to a surface or reading a gauge through it.
