The 3M Peltor WS LiteCom Plus LPD433 MHz Helmet Attachment is a hard hat mounted earmuff with a built-in two-way radio, so crews can talk without carrying a handheld. It clips to slotted helmets and carries an SLC80 32 dB Class 5 rating to AS/NZS 1270:2002, which covers most high noise work on site. The pre-programmed analog radio reaches up to 2 km depending on conditions, and the noise-cancelling microphone is water resistant to IP68.
Bluetooth Multipoint lets you pair a site radio and a phone at once. Level-dependent ambient listening keeps you aware of plant, reversing alarms and anyone calling out nearby. A voice-guided menu walks you through settings, and there is battery status indication plus auto power off to save charge.
