About this product
The 3M Versaflo Standard Duty Breathing Tube connects a powered air purifying respirator or supplied air unit to the headtop so filtered air reaches the wearer. It is a fixed length tube at 965mm, made from lightweight polyurethane so it sits comfortably over a long shift without dragging on the harness or hood.
The 3M quick release swivel connection lets the tube turn with the head instead of twisting at the fitting, and it comes apart fast when the headtop needs to come off. It suits all 3M powered air purifying respirator and supplied air delivery units, so it works across a mixed fleet of gear. Manufactured to AS/NZS 1716. Check the tube for splits, kinks or damage at the cuffs before each use and replace it if the airflow path is compromised.
