About this product
The 3M 8822 P2 Cupped Particulate Respirator is a disposable mask for work around dust, fine particles and mists, rated for use up to 12 x TLV. The convex cup shape, twin straps, polyurethane nose foam and steel nose clip help it sit properly across a range of face sizes. Inside, a collapse resistant shell holds the shape through a long shift.
The 3M Cool Flow valve vents warm, moist air on the exhale, which makes a real difference in heat and humidity. Filter and valve body are polypropylene, the straps are polyisoprene and the staples are stainless steel. It suits foundry and furnace work, leadwork, light welding and bushfire fighting, plus dental and other settings where aerosol droplets and airborne particles are a concern.
