The 3M Cupped Particulate Respirator 8210 N95 P2 is a disposable mask for workers breathing non-oil based dust, mist and fume. The cupped shape holds its form over the face, and the adjustable nose clip helps cut down eyewear fogging while you work. At 10g per respirator it sits light on the face, which matters when you have it on for most of a shift. White, with no valve on this model. Manufactured to AS/NZS 1716:2012.
Suits foundry and furnace work, leadwork, light welding and bushfire fighting, along with jobs like composting and handling infected animals where P2 protection is called for. It also covers dental and medical settings where aerosols and airborne particles are a risk. If you are after the P1 version or one with an exhalation valve, those are separate items in the 3M disposable range. Fit it properly, shape the nose clip to your face, and bin it once it is loaded or damaged.
