The 3M P2/P3 Asbestos/Dust Respirator Kit is a complete kit for asbestos removal and dusty work, built around a 3M 7500 Series half face reusable respirator in Size Small. Small suits narrower faces where a medium sits too wide and breaks the seal, which matters when you need the mask sealing properly for the shift. Two pairs of 3M Particulate Filters 6035 P2/P3 come with it, and the solid top casing keeps dirt, water and dust off the media so the filters do not cake up early.
Also in the storage container are 3M SecureFit 200 Series safety glasses to AS/NZS1337.1 Medium Impact, four 3M Respirator Cleaning Wipes 504 and a pair of 3M No-Touch Foam Earplugs P2000, Class 4 (SLC80: 25dB). The respirator meets AS/NZS 1716:2012. Used with the 7500 Series, the filters give 10 times the Workplace Exposure Standard or 30 ppm, whichever is lower. Do not use any filtering respirator above the relevant IDLH levels, and check Safework Australia guidelines for asbestos work.
