The 3M P2/P3 Asbestos/Dust Respirator Kit in medium is a complete grab-and-go setup for asbestos removal and dusty work, sized for the average face. It is built around a 3M 7500 Series half face reusable respirator with two pairs of 3M Particulate Filters 6035 P2/P3. The solid top filter casing helps stop premature caking and clogging from dirt, grime, water or dust. Used with the 7500 Series, the filters give 10 times the Workplace Exposure Standard or 30 ppm, whichever is lower.
Also in the kit: a pair of 3M SecureFit 200 Series Safety Glasses to AS/NZS1337.1 Medium Impact, four 3M Respirator Cleaning Wipes 504, 3M No-Touch Foam Earplugs P2000 Class 4 (SLC80: 25dB) and a storage container. Suits lead paint removal, sanding, grinding, masonry and insulation work. Respirator system meets AS/NZS 1716:2012. Do not use any filtering respirator above the relevant IDLH levels, and check Safe Work Australia or WorkSafe NZ guidance before asbestos work.
