About this product
The 3M 501 Filter Retainer is the clear plastic cap that clamps a particulate filter onto the front of a gas or vapour cartridge. It holds 3M Particulate Filters 5925 and 5935 in place on top of 3M Cartridges 6000 Series, so you get particulate and vapour protection running through the one setup. Handy on site when you are spraying, grinding or working around dust and fumes at the same time.
Fits 3M respirators in the 5000, 6000, 6500, 7000, 7500 and 7800S ranges, plus the FF-400 full face. The retainer is reusable, so when the filter loads up you pull the cap off, swap the pad and click it back on. Give it a wipe down and a quick look over for cracks or a loose fit before each shift, because a retainer that does not seat properly will not hold the filter flat.
