About this product
The 3M Rebel Self Retracting Cable Lifeline Retrieval is a fall arrest block with a built-in winch, so a fallen worker can be raised or lowered without waiting on a separate rescue setup. It runs 15.2m (50 ft.) of 3/16" (5mm) galvanised steel wire rope out of an aluminium housing, with an anchorage carabiner at the top and a swivelling self-locking snap hook on the working end. The retrieval handle stows away when it is not in use.
Handy for confined space entry, tank and vessel work, and anywhere a crew needs a retrieval option built into the block itself. An anti-ratcheting locking system keeps the cable paying out and locking cleanly, and the impact indicator on the snap hook tells you at a glance if the unit has taken a fall. The carrying handle makes moving the 29.12 lbs unit between anchor points less of a wrestle.
