About this product
The 3M Sealed Block Self Retracting Cable Lifeline is a fall arrest block with a built in rescue winch, made for crews working at height who may need to haul a worker out. It runs 15m of 5mm stainless steel wire rope, ending in a stainless steel swivel snap hook with an impact indicator so you can see straight away if the block has taken a fall.
The dynamic components are environmentally sealed, which keeps grit, dust and moisture away from the internals on exposed sites. Flip over to the 3-way emergency retrieval system and the block becomes a winch for raising or lowering the casualty. An anchorage carabiner is included, and the Fast-Line lifeline system pays out and retracts as the worker moves. A carrying handle is built into the housing, so shifting it between anchor points is straightforward.
