About this product
The 3M 2128 P2 disk filter handles dust and mist while giving relief from organic vapours and acid gases at nuisance levels, meaning concentrations sitting below the Workplace Exposure Standard. It uses 3M high performance filter media, so filtration efficiency stays up and breathing resistance stays low. The disk is light on the face, which matters when the mask is on for most of a shift.
Fits 3M 6000 and 7500 Series half face respirators, along with 6000 and 7000 Series full face respirators. It carries an EN143:2000 P2 rating. Keep in mind that no filtering respirator is the right call where airborne contaminant levels reach or pass the Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health point. For that sort of work you need supplied air, not a filter.
