About this product
Beaver Sisal Rope 10mm is a natural fibre rope for general tie-down and utility work around trucks, trailers, farms and campsites. The 250m length gives you plenty to work with on longer runs or repeat jobs, and the 10mm diameter is easy to grip and knot by hand. Three strand twisted construction from natural staple fibres, made to AS 4142.2.
Sisal holds a knot well, which is part of why it still gets used where a synthetic rope would slip. The exposed fibre ends give it that grippy feel. It is biodegradable and has natural resistance to sunlight and weathering, so it stands up reasonably well outdoors over time. Keep it dry between jobs and check for chafe or rot before you load it up.
