About this product
Beaver Sisal Rope 8mm is a natural fibre rope for tying down loads and general lashing work around the yard. The 250m length is the long run in this size, so it suits crews who cut their own lengths as jobs come up rather than stopping to reorder. At 8mm it stays easy to handle and knot by hand, which is why it gets used on trailer and truck loads, farm jobs and camp setups.
Construction is three strand twisted from natural staple fibres, with exposed fibre ends that help knots bite and hold. Sisal is biodegradable and has natural resistance to sunlight and weathering, so it lasts reasonably well left outside. This rope is made to AS 4142.2. Keep it dry between uses and check for chafe or broken strands before you load it up.
