About this product
The Beaver Polypropylene Film Rope 20mm x 250m is a three strand twisted synthetic rope for tie-downs, mooring lines and general purpose work around yards, farms and sites. At 20mm it is one of the heavier diameters in the range, with a minimum breaking force of 56.9kN, so it suits jobs where thinner rope would be working too hard. The 250m length gives you plenty to cut to whatever the task needs.
Polypropylene stands up to oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, which is why this rope handles being left outdoors. It stays easy on the hands and easy to coil back up after use. Common uses include strapping loads on utes, trailers and trucks, anchor and dinghy lines, and clotheslines inside or out. Made to AS 4142.2. Note that 56.9kN is a breaking force, not a working load limit, so apply your own safety factor.
