Beaver Polypropylene Film Rope 16mm is a three strand twisted synthetic rope for tying down loads and general rigging work around sites, farms and boats. At 16mm it sits at the heavier end of the range, with a minimum breaking force of 37kN, so it suits bigger loads on trucks and trailers where thinner diameters would be working too hard. The 250m length gives you plenty to cut to job length.

Polypropylene handles well, holds a knot and stands up to oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, which is why this rope is fine left outside. Common uses include anchor rope, dinghy mooring lines, clotheslines and everyday tie down jobs. It is made to AS 4142.2. Keep it clear of sharp edges and check the strands for abrasion or sun damage before each use.
