About this product
Beaver Polypropylene Film Rope in 4mm is a light general purpose synthetic rope for tie downs, clotheslines and everyday jobs around the yard, farm or trailer. This is the thinnest end of the range, with a minimum breaking force of 2.1kN and a 300m length, so it suits the small stuff where a heavier diameter would just be awkward to knot and handle.
Three strand twisted polypropylene construction gives it decent strength for the diameter and keeps it easy to splice, coil down and work by hand. It shrugs off oil, petrol, rot, mildew, sunlight and general weathering, which is why it holds up left outside. Handy as a dinghy mooring line, an anchor line or a light lashing. It is made to AS 4142.2.
