About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 24mm is a three strand synthetic rope for tying down loads and general outdoor work where you need a heavy hand-friendly line. At 24mm it is the thicker end of the range, so it fills the hand well and takes big knots without choking up. The 250m length gives you plenty to cut to job lengths. Made to AS 4142.2.
The polyethylene fibres are fibrillated, so fine hairs stand out from the strands and give the rope good knot grip and resistance to abrasion. It has a medium-to-soft lay that runs easily through hands and around bollards. Oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering do not trouble it, and it floats, so it suits truck and trailer work, farm use and anything left out in the weather. It can be stored wet.
