About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 16mm is the size most blokes reach for when they want a general purpose tie-down rope with a bit more hand to it, and this one runs 250m so there is plenty for a truck fleet, a shed or a farm. Three strand construction in synthetic polyethylene fibres, with medium strength and a medium-to-soft lay that stays easy to coil, knot and pull through.
The fibrillated film leaves hairs standing off the rope, which helps knots hold and slows down abrasion. It shrugs off oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, so it lives outdoors without going brittle. It floats, and you can put it away wet without worrying. Made to AS 4142.2. Good for strapping loads on trucks and trailers, and for the endless odd jobs around a property.
