About this product
Beaver Silver Lashing Rope 12mm x 12m is a three strand synthetic polyethylene rope for tying down loads on trucks, trailers and around the farm. The 12m length is the short one in the range, handy for single tie-downs, gear straps and odd jobs where a longer rope just gets in the way. At 12mm diameter it gives you enough to grip and pull down hard without chewing up your hands.
The lay is medium to soft, so it handles easily and takes a knot well. Fibrillated film leaves fine hairs on the surface, which helps knots hold and resists abrasion. It shrugs off oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, so it lives outside without trouble. Silver rope floats and can be stored wet. Made to AS 4142.2.
