About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 12mm x 125m is a three strand synthetic rope for general tie-down and utility work around trucks, trailers and farms. The 12mm diameter gives you a rope that sits well in the hand and holds a knot without being stiff. The medium-to-soft lay makes it easy to coil and throw. Fibrillated film leaves fine hairs standing off the strands, which improves grip in knots and helps the rope resist abrasion.
Medium strength and durability, so it suits day to day securing rather than lifting. Polyethylene fibre shrugs off oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, which is why it holds up outdoors. It floats, and you can put it away wet without worrying about rot. The 125m length works well where you are cutting shorter tie-down lengths as you go. Made to AS 4142.2.
