About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 12mm is a three strand synthetic rope for tying down loads on trucks and trailers, plus general farm and yard work. The 250m length gives you plenty to cut to size for multiple jobs rather than running short mid task. At 12mm it sits in the handy middle ground, enough diameter to grip comfortably and hold a knot, still light and easy to coil down.
The polyethylene fibres are fibrillated, so fine hairs stand off the rope and give it good knotting and anti-abrasion behaviour. It has medium strength and durability with a medium-to-soft lay that handles well in the hand. Oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering all have little effect, so it works outdoors. It floats and can be put away wet. Made to AS 4142.2.
