About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 8mm is a three strand synthetic rope for tie downs, general lashing and everyday farm and yard work. The 8mm diameter is the lighter end of the range, easy to knot and quick to pull through a rail or hook, while the 250m length gives you plenty to cut to the jobs you need. Fibrillated film gives the rope its hairy surface, which helps knots hold and slows down abrasion.
Made from polyethylene fibres, it resists oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, so it handles being left outdoors. It floats and can be stored wet, which suits boats, dams and wash down areas. The medium-to-soft lay keeps it comfortable in the hands on a cold morning. Made to AS 4142.2.
