About this product
Beaver Silver Staple Polyethylene Rope in 6mm is a light, three strand synthetic rope for tying down loads on trucks and trailers, and for general farm work. The 6mm diameter is the handy end of the range, thin enough to knot easily and pull up tight without fighting it, and the 250m length keeps plenty on hand for repeat jobs. Medium strength, medium durability, and a medium to soft lay that runs through the hands without much bite.
Made from fibrillated polyethylene film, so fine hairs stand out from the strands and give it good knot holding and resistance to abrasion. It shrugs off oil, petrol, acid, rot, mildew, sunlight and weathering, which makes it fine for outdoor use. It floats, and you can put it away wet. Made to AS 4142.2.
