About this product
The Black Rat 4WD Open-Weave Mesh Drying Bag gives you somewhere to stow wet recovery gear without it sitting in its own water. The open weave lets air move through the bag, so snatch straps, winch extensions and bridles can dry out after a bog instead of going back in the tub damp.
At 0.3 kg the bag adds next to nothing to your load, and it hangs off a tow point, roof rack or tray rail while you pack up the rest of the kit. It suits anyone running recovery gear regularly, from weekend four-wheel drivers to site utes on unsealed tracks. Shake the mud off, load it up and let it breathe. Rinse the mesh out now and then to keep grit from working into the weave.
Common questions
- what is a 4wd mesh drying bag used for
- It holds wet recovery gear such as snatch straps and winch extensions so the open weave can air it out. Drying, towing and recovery are the listed applications.
- how much does the black rat mesh drying bag weigh
- The bag weighs 0.3 kg, so it adds very little to your recovery kit.
- why use a mesh bag instead of a solid recovery bag
- A solid bag traps moisture against the straps. The open weave on this Black Rat bag lets air pass through so the gear dries instead of staying damp.
