About this product
The Black Rat 4WD Polyester Winch Extension Strap gives you another 30m of reach when your winch cable falls short of the anchor point. It is the longest option in the range, so it earns its keep on tracks where the nearest solid tree or recovery point sits well back from the bogged vehicle. Built from 50mm black polyester webbing with a minimum breaking strain of 4t, or 4,000kg.
Both ends are protected where the strap takes the wear of hitching and dragging. Polyester has little stretch, so it works as an extension line rather than a snatch strap. At 3.42kg it rolls up small enough to live in the back with the rest of the recovery gear. Check the webbing for cuts, abrasion and chemical damage before every recovery, and keep it out of the dirt where you can.
Common questions
- what is the breaking strain of the black rat 30m winch extension strap
