About this product
The Beaver Slide-On Truck Winch is a trailer-mounted winch and strap set for tying down loads on flat top and drop side decks. It slides along the rubbing rail into position, then tensions the 50mm wide strap through the drum. The 9m length gives you enough webbing for a decent height of freight or machinery without a pile of excess tail. Lashing capacity is 2500kg, the strap is 100% polyester, and the end is fitted with a hook and keeper. It complies to AS/NZS4380.
Tension it with Beaver's Reversible Ratchet Winch Bar (MH34242). Keep at least three loops of webbing on the drum when the strap is under load, and check the gear teeth are clean and undamaged before you pull it up tight. Match the winch to the job, and keep straps tight rather than loose. Assembled weight is 10.25kg.
