The 3M E-A-R Express Earplugs are disposable foam plugs rated SLC80 19 dB Class 3, built for crews who need hearing protection without rolling the plug between their fingers first. The pod-shaped foam compresses as you push, then expands slowly in the canal to form a seal that suits most ear shapes. A flexible stem does the work, so grubby hands never touch the foam.
Two materials make up the plug. The stem stays rigid enough to guide it in straight, while the soft foam handles the comfort side and softens further with wear to tighten the seal over a shift. They are tested to AS/NZS 1270:2002 and suit general industry noise, from workshops and plant rooms to site work. Bin them at the end of the day and start fresh with a clean pair.
