About this product
The Beaver Wire Rope Aluminium Ferrules 13.2mm x 26.4mm x 4.9mm are swage sleeves for forming a soft eye or termination in wire rope with a swaging press. This size carries dimensions A x B x C of 13.2mm x 26.4mm x 4.9mm, a length of 42mm and DIN code 12, so it sits at the larger end of the range and matches rope sized to the 4.9mm C dimension.
Aluminium takes the swage cleanly and grips the rope without the die pressures needed for steel. Beaver ferrules are certified to EN 13411. They suit galvanised or black wire rope, which makes them the standard choice for slings, guy wires and rope assemblies made up in the workshop. Check the ferrule matches the rope diameter before pressing, and use the correct die for a full, even swage.
