About this product
The Beaver Wire Rope Aluminium Ferrules 12.1mm x 24.2mm x 4.5mm are swage sleeves used to form a permanent eye in wire rope. This size carries DIN code 11, with a 4.5mm bore, a 12.1mm barrel diameter, a 24.2mm flange and an overall length of 39mm, so it suits rope matched to that 4.5mm C dimension.
Aluminium presses down cleanly under a swaging press and grips the rope without chewing into the strands, which makes it the standard choice for eyes in galvanised or black wire rope. Beaver ferrules are certified to EN 13411. Check the bore against your rope before you press, use the correct die, and inspect the finished swage for a full, even barrel with no splitting at the ends.
