About this product
The Beaver Wire Rope Aluminium Ferrules 8.8mm x 17.6mm x 3.3mm is the swage sleeve you press onto wire rope to form a permanent eye. This size carries DIN code 8, with an 8.8mm bore, a 17.6mm outside dimension, a 3.3mm wall and an overall length of 28mm, so it suits the rope diameter that matches that bore rather than being a general fit.
Aluminium swages down cleanly under a machine press and grips the rope without the weight of a steel sleeve. Beaver ferrules are certified to EN 13411. Use them on galvanised or black wire rope for slings, lifting eyes and fixed rope assemblies. Match the ferrule bore to the rope, use the correct die, and check the finished swage dimension before the assembly goes to work.

- Beaver aluminium ferrules are certified to EN 13411.
- can you use aluminium ferrules on galvanised wire rope
