The Beaver Wire Rope Aluminium Ferrules 3.8mm x 7.6mm x 1.5mm are swage sleeves for forming eyes and terminations in wire rope. This is the small end of the range, sized for 1.5mm rope, with a 3.8mm bore, 7.6mm outside diameter and a length of 13mm. It carries DIN code 3.5. Beaver manufactures these ferrules certified to EN 13411.
Aluminium swages down cleanly under a press, so you get a tidy grip on the rope without the bulk of a heavier fitting. Suits galvanised or black wire rope. Machine swaging is the method here, so match the ferrule to the correct die and check the finished dimension after pressing. Handy for light rope work, balustrade eyes and small assemblies where a 1.5mm rope is doing the job.
