The Beaver Wire Rope Thimbles Hot Dipped Galvanised 35mm is the liner that sits inside a spliced or swaged rope eye, holding its shape and taking the wear instead of the rope. This is the 35mm wire diameter size, the heavy end of the range, so it suits big-bore rope on crane pendants, winch lines and mooring work. Dimensions are 38mm at A, 105mm at D and 152mm at H.

Solid pressed steel with a hot dipped galvanised finish, which handles outdoor and coastal work better than bare steel. This Wire Rope Thimble complies to AS1138. Match the thimble to the rope diameter, not near enough. A 35mm thimble on undersized rope will let the eye shift and chew out the splice. Check the groove for deformation or flogged edges before reuse.
