The Beaver Wire Rope Thimbles Hot Dipped Galvanised 14mm is the size you reach for when you're forming an eye in 14mm wire rope. The thimble sits inside the eye and takes the bearing load off the rope itself, so the wire isn't crushed or kinked against a shackle pin or hook. This one measures 46mm high with a 32mm outside diameter and a 15mm groove width, matched to suit 14mm rope.

Hot dipped galvanising gives it a thick coating that stands up to weather and washdowns, which matters on yard gear, marine work and anything sitting outside on a mine site. Complies to AS1138. Check the groove seats the rope cleanly before you swage or splice, and replace any thimble that has been pulled out of shape or worn flat at the throat.
