The Beaver Wire Rope Thimbles Hot Dipped Galvanised 10mm sits inside a rope eye to hold its shape and stop the wire crushing or kinking under load. This size is cut for 10mm wire rope, with a 10.3mm groove, a D dimension of 25mm and an overall height of 38mm. Hot dipped galvanised finish for outdoor and marine exposure. Complies to AS1138.

Get the thimble size right and the eye does the work it was designed to do. Too small and the rope will not seat, too large and it works loose in service. Swage or hand splice the 10mm rope around the thimble, or clamp it with wire rope grips. Check the groove for spread or flattening after heavy use and replace any thimble that has lost its shape.
