The 3M E-A-Rsoft Superfit uncorded foam earplugs are disposable plugs for anyone working in high noise, from crane crews and site trades through to metal processing and heavy engineering. The slow-recovery foam expands to seal the ear canal, and the tapered shape gives a high level of protection without pressing hard on the ear. Rated at 23 dB, Class 4 to AS/NZS 1270:2002. Regular size suits regular ear canals.
Fit checking is simple. The orange fitting ring acts as a guideline while you roll and insert the plug, and the red line tells you the rest of the story. If you can still see the red line, the plug is not seated properly and needs to go back in. That makes supervisor spot checks quick on site. Uncorded format keeps the plugs out of the way, and a corded version is available where you want them hanging between tasks.
