The Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Thimbles 32mm sit inside a rope eye to hold its shape and stop the rope crushing or wearing against a pin or shackle. This is the heavy end of the range, sized for 32mm wire rope, so it is the one you reach for on larger winch lines, guy ropes and static rigging where the smaller sizes simply will not seat.
Galvanised finish gives it a fair go against moisture and general knockabout site conditions. Worth being clear on one point: these thimbles are commercial grade and are not suitable for lifting. Keep them for non lifting work. Match the thimble to the actual rope diameter, because a 32mm thimble in a smaller rope will let the eye shift and chew itself out over time.
