About this product
The Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Thimbles 25mm line the inside of a spliced or swaged eye so the rope holds its shape and doesn't crush against a shackle or pin. This is the largest end of the range, matched to 25mm wire diameter, so it suits heavy standing rope and rigging where smaller thimbles simply won't seat.
Galvanised finish gives the steel some protection against rust when the rope is working outdoors or getting wet. Worth noting, these are commercial thimbles and they are not suitable for lifting, so keep them to guy lines, fencing, towing and general fabrication work. Check the groove suits your rope before you swage. A thimble that is too big lets the eye move and wears the rope early.
