The Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Thimbles 23mm sits inside a spliced or swaged eye to stop 23mm wire rope crushing and wearing where it bends around a pin or shackle. It is the heaviest end of the Beaver commercial thimble range, matched to 23mm rope, so check your rope diameter before ordering rather than assuming the next size down will seat properly.
Galvanised finish gives it reasonable resistance to weather and damp on general site and yard work. Keep in mind these are commercial thimbles, not rated hardware, and they are not suitable for lifting. Use them on static, guy and general rigging work where the rope eye needs support. If the groove is deformed or the rope has started biting into the body, replace the thimble and re-terminate.
