Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Thimbles in the 10mm size line the eye of a 10mm wire rope so the rope sits on a formed groove instead of bending hard against a shackle or pin. That grooved seat spreads the load across a wider radius and keeps the eye in shape once it is swaged or clamped off.
The 10mm sizing suits heavier commercial rope work than the small fence and balustrade sizes in the range, so check your rope diameter before ordering. The galvanised finish gives reasonable protection against weather and general outdoor exposure. Worth noting: these thimbles are not suitable for lifting.
