The Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Thimbles 6mm line the eye of a 6mm wire rope so the rope holds its shape and does not chew itself out against a shackle or pin. Sized specifically for 6mm wire, so the groove seats the rope properly rather than letting it sit loose and deform under load. The galvanised finish gives the thimble a bit of protection against rust in outdoor and damp work.
These are commercial grade thimbles and they are not suitable for lifting. Use them on fencing, guy wires, general rope terminations and static jobs where the eye needs shape and wear protection. Pair with a swage or the right wire rope grips to close the eye. Check the groove matches the rope before you crimp, since an oversized thimble will let the rope shift and wear early.
