Beaver Galvanised Wire Rope Grips 28mm

About this product

The Beaver Galvanised Wire Rope Grips 28mm is a U-bolt style grip for forming eyes and terminations in 28mm wire rope. It is the largest end of the size range, built around a 22mm U-bolt with a 48mm bridge width and a 50mm saddle, so it clamps the heavier rope diameters that smaller grips cannot hold. Overall height is 96mm and width 90mm, with A at 38mm and E at 55mm.

The U-bolt is hot dipped galvanised, which gives it a fair go outdoors and in damp yards where bare steel would rust off quickly. Beaver galvanised wire rope grips are rated to AS 2076. They are not suitable for lifting, so keep them to guying, fencing, static rope terminations and similar work. Match the grip size to the rope size, fit the saddle on the live end, and check the nuts stay tight after the rope takes load.
