About this product
The Beaver Galvanised Wire Rope Grips 26mm clamp a turned back eye or a dead end in 26mm wire rope, holding the tail against the live part of the rope. This is the heavy end of the Beaver range, built around a 16mm U-bolt with a 40mm bolt spacing and a 44mm saddle, so it suits the larger ropes used on guying, fencing strainers and general tie back work.
The U-bolt is hot dipped galvanised, which helps it stand up to weather and outdoor storage. Beaver grips are rated to AS 2076. They are not suitable for lifting, so keep them off slings and any load bearing rigging. Fit the saddle on the live rope, space and tension the grips evenly, then check the nuts again after the rope has taken initial load. Overall body height is 80mm with a width of 89mm.
