About this product
Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 20mm size are used to form a secure termination or eye in 20mm wire rope for non-lifting work. This is the largest end of the size range, built around a 12mm U-bolt with a 62mm overall height and a 52mm width, so it takes up more room on the rope than the smaller grips and needs the space to sit properly.
The saddle measures 30mm across the A dimension, 28mm at B and 32mm at C, matching the bulk of 20mm rope. The electro galvanised finish gives reasonable protection against surface rust on general fencing, guy wire and tie-back jobs. One thing to be clear on, these grips are not suitable for lifting. If the rope is carrying a load overhead, use a rated termination instead.
