About this product
Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 13mm size are used to form a secure termination on 13mm wire rope for non-lifting work. The 13mm size takes the larger end of the commercial range, with a 45mm height, 41mm width and 10mm U-bolt legs, so you get enough bridge depth to clamp a heavier rope properly. Key dimensions run 21mm, 22mm and 23mm across the A, B and C points.
These grips are not suitable for lifting. Use them for guy wires, fencing, barriers, static stays and general tie-back jobs where the rope is not carrying a load overhead. The electro galvanised finish gives reasonable protection against surface rust in sheltered and general outdoor conditions. Fit the saddle on the live end, keep the nuts even, and check the tension again after the rope has taken up its first bit of stretch.
