About this product
Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 10mm size are for clamping and terminating 10mm wire rope on non-lifting jobs. The 8mm U-bolt and 16mm saddle width suit the rope diameter, with a 34mm height and 33mm width across the body, so you can work out clearance before you start making up your terminations.
The electro galvanised finish gives a bit of protection against surface rust on general site and yard work. Note that these grips are not suitable for lifting, so keep them to fencing, guy lines, bracing and similar static duties. Fit them the right way round with the saddle on the live end, space them correctly along the rope, and check the nuts for tension after the rope has taken load and settled.
