About this product
Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 8mm size clamp the tail of 8mm wire rope back on itself to form a secure eye or termination. This is the mid-range size in the Beaver commercial grip family, matched to 8mm rope and no other diameter, so check your rope gauge before you order. The saddle measures 28mm across and 28mm high, with 14mm A and B dimensions, a 15mm C and a 6mm D.
Finish is electro galvanised, which gives the U-bolt and saddle a basic barrier against surface rust in general outdoor work. Worth being clear on one point: these grips are not suitable for lifting. Use them for fencing, guy lines, bracing and similar static jobs. Fit the saddle on the live end of the rope, keep the U-bolt on the dead tail, and nip the nuts down evenly.
