About this product
Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 6mm size clamp the tail of a 6mm wire rope back on itself to form a secure termination. The u-bolt measures 5mm through the legs, with a 10.5mm saddle width, 12mm across B and 13mm at C. Overall the grip sits 23mm high and 24mm wide, so it stays compact on smaller ropes and fits neatly where clearance is tight.
Electro galvanised finish gives the bolts and saddle a layer of protection against surface rust in general outdoor use. These are commercial grade grips for fencing, guy wires, barriers, balustrade runs and general rope terminations. They are not suitable for lifting, so keep them off slings, hoists and anything taking a suspended load. Match the grip to the rope diameter, fit the saddle on the live side of the rope, and check the nuts are still tight after the rope has taken up tension.
