Beaver Commercial Galvanised Wire Rope Grips in the 3mm size are used to form a secure termination or eye in 3mm wire rope for fencing, guy lines, balustrade runs and general tie-back work. This is the smallest end of the range, matched to fine rope where a larger grip simply will not clamp properly. The saddle measures 9.5mm across at A and 10.5mm at B, with a 9mm C dimension and 4mm U-bolt legs.
Overall the grip sits 17mm high and 19.5mm wide, so it stays tidy on light rope without fouling nearby hardware. The electro galvanised finish gives reasonable protection for outdoor use. Worth noting, these grips are not suitable for lifting, so keep them out of any rigging or load-bearing application. Fit them with the saddle on the live end of the rope and check the nuts for tension after the line takes up its initial stretch.
