The Beaver Grade S Safety Pin Bow Shackle 8.5t is a bolt, nut and cotter shackle for lifting and towing work where the connection needs to stay put. At 25mm x 29mm with a 25mm body and 29mm pin, this is the mid to upper end of the range, rated to an 8.5t working load limit and weighing 2.78kg. The bow measures 68mm across with a 43mm inside width and 95mm inside length, so there is room for slings, hooks or multiple legs.

Safety pin closure is the one to reach for on long-term or permanent rigs, or where a load can slide on the pin and turn it. Hot dip galvanised finish handles corrosion. Grade S suits high strength jobs including 4WD recovery. Each shackle is marked with WLL, quality grade, size and batch ID or date of manufacture, proof tested to the Australian Standard and complies to AS 2741. Test certificates available on request.
