About this product
The Beaver Yellow Pin Grade S Safety Pin Dee Shackle 12t is the heavy end of this range, built for long-term and permanent lifting connections where you need the pin to stay put. It carries a 12t working load limit on a 32mm body with a 35mm pin, so it sits well above the smaller sizes in the range when the load gets serious. Inside width is 52mm and inside length 100mm, with a 76mm diameter boss. All up it weighs 5.26kg.
The safety pin arrangement, a nut and split pin setup, means the pin can rotate under load without backing out, which suits gear that vibrates or loads that slide on the pin. Body is hot dipped galvanised and the pin is painted yellow for quick identification in a sling set. Grade S gives the strength to size ratio you want in a dee this size. Complies to AS 2741.
